I just realized that this Cubs lineup has plenty of former Gnat targets... Fowler, Zobrist and Heyward (at least)... good thing they each wound up in Chicago!

The son in law, of sorts, shows. He is telling us he picked a good time to get out of Dodge. Supposed to rain all weekend long in Florida. Here to pack up his family and take them home. Probably will need a moving van to haul all of the stuff Paula bought.

Nice error, Bryant.

That 1.000 batting average looks good.

Ruiz has walked, HBP, and singled - putting him on base 3 times so far this game. AJ got on base 3 times all of August for the Dodgers.

I really feel sorry for Reddick, each poor at bat puts another load of it on his back. I know the kid will hit, but with Puig tearing it up in OKC, Reddick is hearing footsteps.

Saying the same thing for Everyday Joe, but seeing as how he isn't leading off this inning, I figure he gets two innings including one against the meat of the Cub lineup.

F'ing, Kenley. Lays one up for Heyward and then loses all control with him on base.

As AJ snickers, knowingly...
