Where have I seen this before? Another lefty starter with a 4.50+ ERA looking like Cy Young against the Dodgers. Perfect through 4 with 7 strikeouts. Turner looking absolutely pathetic again against a lefty, not only striking out twice but swinging at pitches eye height. I just don't get it.

I'm sure it has been said before but all a playoff team needs to do is carry only lefties... it doesnt matter if its Bob from the corner mart we are pathetic against LHP

Gonzo plates three to eliminate a 6 run deficit. How bad is the DBacks bullpen?

Apparently bad, we are back in this!!! Bring on the righties!

I can't believe Pedersen manages to get himself thrown out arguing a strike call that Gametrack shows was a strike. Dumb.

Not the best day for the Dodgers pen but then again they've been looking t one so putrid that it probably was infectious.

To me it seemed like the ump was a bit trigger happy but i didnt watch the replays so there may have been more there

No, I agree the ump had a ridiculously fast trigger but it was a strike and you have to know plenty of umps are a-holes who will throw anyone out for even questioning a strike call.

Given how quickly Pederson was ejected, I'm going to guess that he dropped a word he shouldn't have and that was it.

Nice job by Stripling even though he gets the loss. Coleman really lost it. Still the magic number drops to 9.

Yeah, Stripling has nothing to hang his head about.  And while that was a tough loss, ultimately, at this point, it's the magic number I'm paying attention to and, thankully, it dropped.

It's great that Dodgers' magic number for clinching keeps dropping. It does look like a fourth consecutive NL West title is in the offing. That's a great achievement, especially with where this team was during the first half of the season. I'm happy. But I'm still really concerned that this inconsistent play will be destroyed in the playoffs. Is Roberts going to trot out the AAAA lineup against every lefty in the playoffs?

Am I just being a worry wart?
